Since technology has the potential to take education forward in the 21st century, it is becoming increasingly apparent that the use of digital technology will be routinely integrated within my role. Considering that my role as a nurse revolves around saving lives and maintaining a high level of productiveness and effectiveness in healthcare provision, the use of digital technology could not be ignored. From information sharing to traditional learning forums, the utilization of technology promotes my work. Also, I utilize electronic health records and data management software in healthcare provision. This can not only help to improve accountability and accuracy when obtaining patient data but also enhances patient care outcomes and establishes order within the medical facilities.
